The Belgian Chamber of Commerce in Turkey was founded in 1926 by İzzet AKOSMAN, Afif TEKTAŞ, Willi MARGUERY and Gabriel COUTEAUX in order to support the economical, commercial, social and cultural relations between Turkey and Belgium.
The Belgian Chamber of Commerce in Turkey is rewarded the authority of representation of the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg by the Belgian Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and at the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting, which took place at the Belgian General Consulate on Thursday 16th April 2009, the Chamber's name was changed into "The Belgo - Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Turkey".

The Belgo - Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Turkey assists the Belgian and Luxembourgian companies that are located in Turkey, the Turkish companies which want to play an active role at the Belgian and Luxembourgian market and the Belgian and Luxembourgian companies wanting a commercial and industrial development with Turkey.

The Belgo - Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Turkey also offers help to Belgian and Luxembourgian businessmen who want to settle in Turkey.

Our Chamber has nearly 150 Turkish, Belgian and Luxembourgian members, but other nationalities are also welcome to our Chamber.

The Belgo - Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Turkey organizes at regularly basis activities such as breakfast-conferences, business and cultural trips, and our members are directly informed by our quarterly magazine "Istanbelinfo / Belgium Unlimited" and bimonthly magazine "Elegans".

The Belgo - Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Turkey is a member of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Belgium (cci.be).
